A Measure of Faith

The youth are being tried harder now than ever before because of this late hour. The Bible says we are all given a measure of faith, but are you using your faith to overcome the devil? Our faith in the Lord needs to grow stronger and stronger if we want to be victorious in this final hour. The Lord is depending on His true believers to help rescue the lost of this world. Lost souls are wandering in the night, and they don’t know where to look for help. But we know that Jesus is the answer, and we must shine the light of the Gospel so that they can find their way out of the dark.

How much faith do you use in your walk with the Lord? Jesus met a centurion who had come to Him to ask Him to pray for his servant who was sick at home. Jesus agreed to go to his home and pray for the servant, but the centurion told Jesus that he was not worthy for Him to go there. He asked Jesus to speak the word only, and his servant would be healed. The Bible says that Jesus marveled when He heard what the man said. Then Jesus told the people who were following Him, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel (Matthew 8:10).

In the services here at Grace Cathedral, we have people like the centurion who stand in for prayer because their sick loved one is unable to attend the service. They depend on receiving a miracle even though their loved one may be many miles away. When Rev. Angley prays for the sick, our congregation uses their measure of faith to help pull down Heaven for that person’s miracle. Just think of all that we could accomplish for the Lord if every person would use the measure of faith that God has given to him or her. Jesus wants us to have faith like the centurion, faith that He can marvel over. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20).

Learn to “faith out” your problems of life and trust in the Lord. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).

Friend, if you have never asked Jesus into your heart, I encourage you to come to Him today. Click on this link, and Rev. Angley will say a prayer of salvation with you. If you are sick in body, you can click on this link to receive prayer for your health. It is God’s will for you to be well in your soul, mind and body. From this day on, may the Lord be first in your life today and every day.
